Hi there!

My name is Allison and I am the Founder and Director of Evergreen Counseling. I am a Licensed Independent Social Worker and Autism Spectrum Disorder Clinical Specialist. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Behavioral Science at Ashford University and my Master’s degree in Clinical Social Work at Indiana Wesleyan University.

I provide talk therapy for children, teenagers, and adults. I offer a comfortable environment with empathy, compassion and guidance based on your unique circumstances.

I am experienced in supporting moms and providing support for parents of special needs children. I work with individuals with a wide range of mental health concerns. I am an advocate for animal therapy/emotional support animals and can provide an assessment to determine if you are eligible for an ESA letter.

I conduct Autism and ADHD evaluations and diagnoses for adolescents and adults. I understand that waitlists can be years long and getting validation of your neurodivergence in a more timely manner can be empowering.

I am a solution-focused therapist and my approach is warm, kind, and creative. I utilize various interventions within CBT, DBT, and strength-based modalities.

When I am not in the therapy chair, I am spending time with my family and pets on our small country homestead. I enjoy reading books, grilling out, and gardening!
